Speech and Language Pathologist position available at RCS Learning Center! RCS is committed to providing the highest quality of individualized behavioral and educational services to students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other Developmental Disabilities.
The Speech and Language Pathologist delivers services on a consult model for students within the Learning Center. Responsibilities include: observing students, developing speech and language goals, attending TEAM meetings, conducting assessments, training staff on Speech and Language carryover, and writing monthly summaries. The Speech and Language Pathologist works closely with the administrative team to ensure programs are carried over into all environments. The Speech and Language Pathologist is also responsible for oversight of social pragmatic skills within the group setting.
The SLP must have experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The SLP will meet on a weekly basis with RCS Administration. Candidates should demonstrate strong skills in report writing, IEP development, and communication skills. Candidates must have a Master’s degree and proper certifications. Experience with the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis is preferred.
